Although I rarely catch an episode now, my wife and I have watched countless episodes of HGTV’s House Hunters over the years. Now, I know reality TV is a misnomer, but for some reason, I didn’t think a show about families searching for their next home needed to be staged. Forgive my naivety. Please find that article along with some other goodies below.

Anytime man! You walk a narrow line between PF and personal development 🙂 I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
Thanks for the links, I really appreciate it. My wife and I love House Hunters International. I don't even care that it is staged because I still get to see homes around the world. BTW, my daughter told me it was fake 2 years ago. A friend of a friend participated on one of their shows. It doesn't matter.
We like the original better, but I guess the whole staging thing surprised me a little just because I think it would be very easy to disclosed without diminishing the brand. There was no reason for the deceit.
I'm not surprised when anything on tv is fake anymore, but I still pretend it's all real for added entertainment value.

That is a good point. There is virtually no reason to get surprised anymore. Lesson learned.
Thanks for the include, Roshawn, it's much appreciated. I guess all of these reality shows are staged to an extent — after all, they know they're on camera. 😉
Anytime Kevin. You are right! I need to keep that in mind before attributing ANY degree reality to ANY reality show moving forward.
Especially when the in-laws are demanding it. What a crock.
